Myself & Hubby are both working two jobs, watching Aubrey, and trying to grasp everything that is changing right now. Definitely a little mind boggling, but being optimistic & working together as a team is what will get us through it all. My step-mom has been an amazing help & I am beyond grateful for all she does and helping us get through tough times. We are more than blessed with loving and caring family that is there for us no matter how far away they may be or close. We love ya'll and will forever be grateful for everyone.
Now even though we have a lot going on right now, I still committed myself to this challenge, and want to stick to it. That being said, I've really come to notice Aubrey doesn't have a whole lot of little toys. She has plenty of big toys like her doll house or kitchen set, but nothing pretty small. I now know what will be going on her Christmas list this year!! ;)
Aubrey's baby cousin came over to play last weekend so we got our boy toys out to play with and she's been playing with these cars a lot. She's quite a girly girl but can still play with the boys! Even after her cousin left, she's continued to play with these cars all week. There were plenty more photos of them but those will have to wait for another week. ;)
This week I chose to go with Mator & Lightning McQueen. I LOVE this movie & so does Aubrey. So I decided to go with the scene that Mator & Lightning first met pretty much. They have such a funny relationship, complimenting each other so well. Mator keeps Lightning in check when he has to & gets him where he needs to be, yet Lighting takes care of Mator. This was my inspiration for their session.
Aubrey loves to help me photograph her toys.
It's a great bonding time for the two of us & I truly love to see her enjoying it. It's an amazing thing to see life through a child's eyes, what they love, and the joy of including you in their world. I like to think of our time doing this as making her toys feel special by putting them in the limelight & having their own photo session by the dream team! I mean Aubrey & mommy photographing together...is AMAZINGG! Who wouldn't want us on their team?!
She'll help me by putting them in their places, I'll take their photo, and she'll adjust them or add things, I love it!! I am definitely enjoying the lifestyle photos I'm getting with Aubrey & her toys together as well. Even if it's just her moving things around during our sessions. Not every photo has to be a posed & cheesy photos. There can be real beauty in life that others don't see until you show them . I can't wait to share those later!! Let me know what ya'll think so far.
